Langkawi food guide If you're looking for Langkawi food guide, this post certainly gives you some great tips on what to expect for eating and food in Langkawi. Unlike her close cousin - the island of Penang, Langkawi is not the world for food hunting nor food tasting but if you know the tricks, you're going to survive!
Survival Tips #1: Read, read and read Langkawi food review The more you read, the better equipped you are. Though not many, make sure you browse through the Langkawi food blog to feed yourself with true accounts and figures, besides saving some time hunting the best steal for eating places. Based on where you put up, list down at least a few eating places or Langkawi restaurants that you found well-rated by fellow travelers. And a decent Langkawi food court is kind of precious. Please tell us if you found a great one!

Survival Tips #2: Check price before making an order If you're on shoes string budget, always check the price on the menu before you start to call for food or beverage. Whether it is an open air eatery, alfresco cafe or air-conditioned restaurant, a simple meal for an adult can sum up to RM30 or US$10!
Survival Tips #3: If you find a 'great' eatery, stick to it! Depending on your mission for food, whether eat to live or live to eat. If you're happy with the price and enjoy the food, you may hardly find another eating place that offers the same thing. Just go back as often as you wish during your stay. You're not alone, it is a common practice for visitors in Langkawi!
Survival Tips #4: Inexpensive is not in Langkawi food dictionary In Langkawi, delectable food is a privilege. So if you love the food stuff and you can afford, there is nothing wrong to make a visit everyday to the same restaurant. We found great eateries in Langkawi, trust me they exist! Stay tuned for them.
The foods in Langkawi are generally expensive and fall within the same price range everywhere. Exception goes to liquors, beers and chocolates if you were to compare their prices to other states in Malaysia. So, if you can survive on alcohol and chocolates, Langkawi is the eating (and drinking) haven for you!
Survival Tips #5: Langkawi food Kuah is the place If you take a boat into Langkawi, you're going to arrive at the jetty in Kuah downtown. Restaurants in Kuah are more competitive, offering more choices and options includes pork dishes and seafood. Explore Trimula eating district in Kuah, or precisely referring to a row of restaurants on Jalan Persiaran Mutiara - the road across the canal from Bella Vista Hotel. Or try Pekan Rabu - a food and shopping mall exclusively reserved for traditional produce. Make sure, you get a fair bit of your eating and shopping shares in Kuah.
It is no secret that Langkawi food and things are much cheaper in Kuah compares to Pantai Tengah, Pantai Cenang and Langkawi Airport. The last solution if you do not agree with the overprice meals, just head on to the chain restaurants such as Marry Brown, Kenny Roger or the restaurant at your hotel. Play your cards well and enjoy your dream holidays in Langkawi!
