Calling for all sons and daughters...

I was chatting with a good friend of mine in Sydney this morning. She told me that it has been close to 10 years that she has never celebrated Mother's Day with her loving mommy though they do meet for annual holiday and other festival occasion. Her mommy is staying in Christmas Island. Well, she would ring her mummy tomorrow to wish her 'Happy Mother's Day'. I told her 'Distance is only a number; the most significant ingredient is the thought'.
No matter how far we are from our mommy, she stays top rank in our heart. And similarly at our mommy end, we are always her baby. In life, there are always challenges that set some boundaries and forbid us to meet physically on this remarkable day. However, it still counts as long as we are thinking of them, they are always in our mind and closed in our heart. Nobody can replace our mother in this life. The tender loving care that she showers on us each day is like planting a tree with roots that growing deep in the fertile soil. It then makes the tree grows stronger and sturdier as time passed. Until one day, we suddenly wake up and realize in fact we able to stand on our own and perhaps become the shade for others too.

Mom, I know no matter what gifts we buy, how many times we go to celebrate or how many times I thank you; it will not never beat the love and care you give all this while. I owe you since the day I was born and it is going to be a long, long list of unsettled bills.
My aspiration is to make you happy so I will make your day everyday. In this way, everyday is always a Mother's Day (your daughter, the naughty one is trying to confuse you by twisting the words. Anyway, you still find that she is always adorable, isn't she?)Laughing

To all the sons and daughters out there, if distance and time do not permit, I hope that you can ring your mom and wish her a Happy Mother's Day! The voice from you is enough to make her smile. It is yet too late; make it happen now! I have done my part and I hope you will do the same too!

To all mommies, have a wonderful Mother's Day!Cool
