Two weeks ago, JC suggested we had dinner at TEXAS roadhouse. A typical American restaurant that is well-known for its hand-cut steaks, all of us gamed for it. It was also the farewell for CL and little JC. Guess we were on the luck to enjoy Early Dine Promotion for $7.99 on weekdays before 6pm.
With a bit of homework and planning, we reached Texas Roadhouse of US Hwy 183 outlet in North Austin pretty early, before 5:30pm. Since most of us had studied the menu earlier, our order was prompt and we got everything punched into the cashier machine right before the clock ticked 6pm!
Serving in 46 states over 300 locations in United States, one of the iconic servings of Texas Roadhouse is peanut. You would notice dozens of peanut boxes are piling up along the aisles as you walk into the restaurant and tonnes of shells are brushing the floor.
In addition to that, they also offers complimentary baked bread, which was what I love the most on that day. They were served warm, fresh, soft, perfect with honey-butter! Fabulous.

Since I was in not the mood for neither steak nor grilled stuff, I opted for a platter of Pulled Pork Dinner. Started with a bun and their legendary side of my choice - Caesar's salad, my stomach was almost stuffed before the arrival of steamed sweet potato. After chatting for a while, I continued with my entree - the pulled pork topped with BBQ sauce.
When I am hungry, I tend to be optimistic to finish up the serving. However, as usual the food is more than the volume of my tummy. Box to go is the solution, as always!
Check out what were the top picks from the rest.
